Welcome to the online store of Chris Bartholomew, a small internet bookseller based in Penicuik, Midlothian.

Please feel free to search or browse our inventory of books, but be aware that less than half of my online stock is currently catalogued, so if you are looking for a particular book or author, it is worth searching for them through the Quick Search. If you can't find what you want, please fill out our off-line search form and we will search our off-line inventory, other bookstores where we do offer a no obligation Booksearch facility for rare, out-of-print books. I will be actively working to increase the catalogue and will be making quite a few improvements to the site, in the next few weeks.

There are a few particular categories that I'd like to point you to. The BOGOF is a Buy One Get One Free, which does what it says on the tin and you will only be charged for the more expensive of the 2 books that you buy. I do have 4 kids, and as such, I do stock a very large number of Children's Books a lot of which are not yet catalogued, but are searchable.

My payment methods at this time are limited to PayPal, Google Checkout, cash or cheque, but I do hope to be able to accept credit/debit cards directly, shortly, so please bear with me.

I am a sole trader, who has worked with the help of my wife and kids (especially Andrew), and after 4 years of hard work, I consider myself a well established bookseller.
